SOUTHAMPTON METHODIST DISTRICT District Worship Leader Enabler: Mrs Karen Frost Email: kafrost@hotmail.co.uk 7 October 2011 Dear Worship Leaders It was good to meet some of you at the Local Preachers’ and Worship Leaders’ Conference on 1 October at Chandlers Ford. The evaluations from the day are excellent (however there’s always room for improvement) and we’re already planning next year’s conference, so watch this space! I said I’d let you know which of the hymns/songs used in the music session at the conference, are in “Singing the Faith”: Speak O Lord Keith Getty & Stuart Townend The steadfast love of the Lord Edith McNeil Into the darkness Maggi Dawn He became poor John L Bell Light of the world Tim Hughes I’ve also uploaded the handouts from each session which you may find particularly useful if you were unable to attend the conference. Those of you who booked to go to Blandford on 8 October are, I know, disappointed that we had to cancel it due to low numbers. It’s always a difficult decision to cancel, however there needed to be at least 20+ to make the day viable; therefore it would be really good if people could book a little more in advance for future events.
