Archivist / Conservator Wanted

In September there will be a vacancy to be filled in our District for an "Archivist / Conservator" to replace John Russell whose six year term of office expires this year.  The job is far from being an arduous one because it has the support of 21 Circuit Archivists in the District.  Anyone interested but unfamiliar with the keeping of archives can be "coached" by John until they feel perfectly happy to "go it alone". 

It must be stressed that the work of an archivist is paramount and there is a need to ensure that all our Circuit Archivists are doing their part by seeing that all Church records are being kept in perpetuity at County Record Offices or History Centres.
