5. ReThinking – Post Easter

• Bible passage John 21: 9 – 14
• Jesus called them to the familiar (breakfast) from the familiar (fishing)
• When God calls us to ReThink our faith, he calls us from within the familiar
• When Jesus told them to cast their nets to the other side, they obeyed him, just as they did when he called them in Matthew – we have gone full circle from ReCalling to ReThinking
• Come and follow becomes ‘come and have or come and share’
• None of the disciples dared ask him ‘who are you?’ They knew it was the Lord– knowing but not knowing
